The Gallery at Delaware County Community College hosts up to nine visual art exhibitions each year, showcasing the work of students as well as professional artists of national and international reputation. In addition to exhibitions, artists are periodically invited to hold lectures, collaborative projects, and workshops for the College community and the public. Unless otherwise stated, all Visual Arts events are free and open to the public! Unearthing the Past: The Laurel Hill Cemetery Project

The Office of Experiential Learning invites you to the opening exhibit reception for a groundbreaking collaboration with historic Laurel Hill Cemetery entitled Unearthing the Past: The Laurel Hill Cemetery Project. This semester, seven of our professors (Francesco Bellini, Jeffrey LaMonica, David Yox, David Robson, Stacy Cartledge, Ricky Belcastro and Adam Renchen) have involved their classes with hands-on learning projects on site at Laurel Hill Cemetery. This mixed medium exhibit will showcase our students’ creativity in various topics including creative writing, poetry, photography, music composition, and research.
Please plan to stop by the exhibit opening reception on Wednesday, April 19th, 4-7 p.m. in the Art Gallery on the Marple campus to support our faculty and students. You will leave inspired!
